I'm not thrilled withthe service from those cunts at the above mentioned website, I decided to buy a watch from them, and what the fuck do you think happened? the mother fucking watch is broken! it's taken a whole 3 weeks, that's a long time isn't it? fuck no! and so I was looking to replace it, but no, apparently I didn't have a plan like that. well they can all fuck off, it's bullshit. I spent my 15 dollars, and I want a new watch, the only good thing is the watch is stil semi-functional, it'll tell me the time, but no more stopwatch, no more setting alarms, or resetting the time, those things are so difficult or impossible now.

I've had good luck with companys like that, but that does suck. I order my stuff from maxi aids. besides the fact that they're manuals come in print, they're pretty good. I love my alarm clock. I need a talking scale however. and I need to get one that isn't 70 bucks.

I don't think it's the company's fault the watch was dead on arrival. The problem with the way they're made is that when the companies ship them from Taiwan or China, the batteries are installed and working. They don't have a way to put one of those little tabs in that keep the battery from hitting the contacts until you pull it and activate them. I bet you got one that had just sat on the shelf until the batteries ran out. Did you try contacting them to return it and get it replaced or get a new one? I haven't had too many problems with them or Maxi Aids. Maybe you should try getting a watch from a smaller outfit like Speak To Me or something like that and you might have better luck and better service.

try ebay for a scale I got one from there for 35 bucks and it works nicely!

*nods to Garret* Yeah they supposedly sent out this CCTV thing I ordered but I never got it. So they said they'd "check into it" and never did anything. I seriously am sticking to Maxiaids from now on. ILA sucks ass.

ILA's always been very helpful to me. I don't see what the problem is. If you're not happy with them, go with someone else.

I bought a 4-track tape player/recorder from them once, the CanDo something or other, and it accidentally fell/was dropped, and wouldn't you know the blasted thing broke? It was a joke after that that the CanDo can't do anymore. Haha. I really think it was cheaply made, but it was for a decent price, but I was still quite pissed that it broke. I haven't gone with them since. I ordered another 4-track from somewhere else, and it works, but I haven't been able to find it amidst all the crap that I brought home from school in the summer. But that isn't the point... I haven't needed it since, and I flatly refuse to use books in tape format ever again anyway, so it's not like it's a huge loss, except I kind of wish I could find it so it isn't like I just wasted however much money it was with nothing to show for it...

It's just a watch a $15 cheap watch. Grow up. If you feel that you need action on it there are plenty of ways to go around this: Return it and ask for a replacement. Send a complaint to the company to where you bought it from. Or shut up! Yes I understand you're upset over something so cheap and they wont help you that I can understand. But I've never had problems like that.
Of course I got my stuff from maxi aides or the lighthouse. Secondly I always call in my order and if I don't know the company that well I do some research. If I still feel leary I go somewhere else. Cheap products aren't gonna get the best of care which they should. I find the most expensive products are always handled with the best care possible at least thats how most of my equipment came in protective foam boxes or padding. So relax things will work out. Just go to maxi aides or the lighthouse and buy a cheap watch from them.
